NSF National Center for Supply Chain Automation 3rd Annual Symposium for Faculty and Industry Professionals!

Join fellow members of the National Center for Supply Chain Automation (NCSCA) partnership as we gather once again to share resources, best practices and expertise within the field.  The symposium will feature presentations by industry experts, National Science Foundation representatives and academic colleagues along with tours of the UPS Smart Hub and the MODEX show floor.

The Symposium sessions will be held simultaneously with MODEX 2020. From illuminating education to next-generation technology and equipment in action, MODEX lets you see what’s coming.  You can connect with over 900 leading industry providers and see how their efficiency-enhancing and cost-cutting equipment and technology solutions can future proof the supply chain.  You can make new contacts, discover cutting-edge automation technologies, and learn about the latest trends. NCSCA Symposium attendees will be registered for the MODEX show.  There are no registration fees for either event.  Registration in the NCSCA Symposium is accomplished by clicking on the Register or Attend Event button at the top of this page.    


NCSCA sessions will also feature the results of the ongoing partnerships with the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council, Amatrol and industry experts to establish a national industry certification for automation technicians.  The Symposium will include a briefing on the "Skill Boss-Logistics" training and assessment device invented by Amatrol.  The Certified Technician - Supply Chain Automation  (CT-SCA) Industry Certification will feature 3 critical work modules.

Maintaining Equipment/Systems 
Installing, Modifying, Troubleshooting and Repairing Equipment/Systems 
Installing, Modifying, Troubleshooting, and Repairing Basic Controllers and Networks 

A nationally portable, industry-recognized certificate will be earned upon successful completion of the three CT-SCA modules .

Participants are invited to become a part of the National Center for Supply Chain Automation academic community.  The NCSCA has implemented a model supply chain 2 year degree to meet the need for educated technicians in the field.  More information about the Nation Center for Supply Chain Automation can be found at .

No, registration for the NCSCA Symposium is accomplished by clicking on the Attend Event button at the top of this page.  Registration at MODEX will be accomplished when you register for the NCSCA symposium.
