Explain common beliefs, customs, practices and behaviors that exists within ethnic communities
Establish linkage between social determinants and health outcomes
Improve awareness of the need for cultural sensitivity, including language competence  
Provide recommendations for patient-centered approach to improve compliance and outcomes among patients
