USAID Capture Management Training Course, The Fund for Peace, Thursday, 16. May 2019

In partnership with the Fund for Peace (), Federal Capture LLC will walk training participants through "The First Seven Pages" methodology to effectively gather intelligence prior to a USAID solicitation being released. Some of the questions that will be answered during the two-day, 10-hour course include:

How do you structure your capture team, when should you start, and how much will it cost?
How do you build the business case to convince senior leadership that your capture opportunity should be funded?
When can you talk to USAID, who should you meet with, and what questions can you ask?
What are USAID's latest 'hot buttons', buzz words, and concepts that should be reflected in your organization's technical approach?
Which local stakeholders in government, civil society, academia, the media, and the private sector should you meet with once in country?
What are the key deliverables to be completed prior to RFP/RFA issuance?

Role playing exercises reinforce learning and participants walk away with the knowledge / tools / templates to help a company more effiicently prepare for and win USAID contracts and cooperative agreements around the globe.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Entry-, Mid-, and Senior-Level Professionals that want to add and increase their value during the pre-solicitation stage of USAID's procurement process within:

Existing USAID implementers

US small businesses that want to make the transition from subcontractor to prime

Companies / organizations seeking to work with USAID for the very first time

“Training from Federal Capture on both proposal development (The First Seven Pages workshop) and capture management best practices delivered exactly what I needed - systems and industry best practices. The training keeps the audience engaged and the anecdotes and examples bring the USAID-specific concepts and methods to life. The exercises produce "ah ha" moments and the trainer is unflappable in dealing with trainees that ask tough questions.
The pace of training works well and I have heard nothing but praise for those in my company that have taken the training. In fact, the first training he delivered got such positive spin in the company, that the demand for the next session was overwhelming.”
