Utah State University Presents Arts Art Core: One World, Many Makers, Utah State University, Logan Campus-Edith Bowen Laboratory School, Thursday, 01. August 2019

Arts Are Core: One World, Many Makers is a professional development arts-integration conference for K-6 classroom teachers, arts specialists, administrators, and pre-service teachers.

Join us for a full day of professional development exploring how the core curricula of math, science, language arts and social studies can be taught using the rich hands-on art forms of dance, drama, music and visual art. Participants will delve deep into the foundation of arts-integration, unpacking all of the quality characteristics and best practices. Participants will walk away with tried and true lesson plans to kick off the upcoming school year!
Keynote: Mary Ann Lee, Director of the Tanner Dance Program and Children’s Dance TheatreKennedy Center Teaching Artist: Judy Thibault Klevins.

Networking Reception: 4:00PM-5:00PM located at the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (Refreshments, live music, the NEHMA Mobile Art Truck and a stroll through the museum.) 
Registered attendees will recieve a free Utah Festival Opera ticket and a copy of the children's book, Everywhere, Wonder.
