Are you REALLY interested in welding? If so, then this 3 week welding course (1 night per week / 3 weeks) at Cleveland Blacksmithing is for you! For 3 consecutive weeks, you’ll get a hands-on exploration of all fundamental welding and cutting processes including MIG, TIG, Stick and Oxy-fuel. In addition to learning each welder and getting in some hands-on practice, you can also expect a more in-depth discussion of fundamental welding theory and practices including consumable selection, design and fit-up, managing distortion, preheat, and any student-specific inquiries. You can either come with a project in mind, or develop an idea as you start working. Either way, you’re sure to learn something new. This is a 3-week class meeting on Mondays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. * Participants must be able to attend all 3 consecutive weekly class sessions. Session dates are as follows: • Mondays on June 3rd, 10th, (no class the 17th) and 24th • Mondays on July 8th, 15th, 22nd • Mondays on September 16th, 23rd, 30th — All basic supplies and materials are included. Participants should bring a suitable long-sleeved shirt as well as other suitable dress covered on our FAQ page. — No previous metalworking experience necessary. Cost includes all steel, fuel, welding consumables and other shop supplies involved in introductory instruction. Must be covered from the waist down and have on closed toe shoes.
