Q&A Session to follow

Parenting doesn't come with a manual... and that's why we learn together and use our village of resources to get through it with ease.
At this workshop, we will have three amazing speakers on the following topics,
Behavior, Sleep and Mental Health.

Challenging Behavior Coaching
Behavior is communication
Lauren Pace, MS, Child Behavior Specialist & Parenting Coach

What are they communicating?
How can we prevent it?
How can we teach the new skills?
How can we respond in a way that teaches?

Most behavior plans aim to stop the behavior. This goes beyond that. Positive behavior support looks for triggers, puts simple preventatives into place, teaches new skills to communicate the need and responds to the behavior with logical/effective consequences.

Learn it here. And join us for a Q&A panel to get specific questions answered.

Sleep Training
Developing healthy sleep patterns from the start
Kristy Carr, Pediatric Sleep Consultant
After experiencing colic and severe sleep deprivation with her first baby, she developed a passion for baby and child sleep and began learning everything she can about it. She became passionate about not only helping my baby sleep better by applying the things she learned but sharing her knowledge and skills with other families to get them sleeping better, too. She has a certification in maternity, baby, and child sleep through the International Parenting and Health Institute as well as a Bachelor's degree in Health Education from Utah Valley University.
She believes that severe sleep deprivation is not something parents just need to endure, but something that can be remedied quickly and gently so that the whole family can lead happier well-rested lives!
In her presentation, she will go other her top tips for

maternity
newborn
infant
toddler sleep

Learn practical skills that you can apply to help your family sleep better. And ask all the questions for other ages in the Q&A. #xoparentingworkshop
