ABOUT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT The RED LEADERSHIP SUMMIT is an intimate leadership experience for a small group of professionals (ERG Leaders, D&I Directors/Managers, Mid-Level Professionals, HR Managers, and C-Suite Executives) that are interested in becoming more effective at retaining, engaging, and developing leaders of the Millennial Generation. Various generational experts and speakers have provided great information and insight about the millennial generation that has helped many, but the Red Leadership Summit will provide leadership participants with some fresh insight, knowledge, and research that can make a huge impact with their organizations effort to retain, engage, and develop more leaders of the Millennial Generation. WHAT TO EXPECT  RED participants will not only develop a deeper understanding about the characteristics, traits, and qualities of the Millennial Generation, but they will learn about the cultural differences that exist amongst the Millennial Generation that could be impacting your recruitment, retention, engagement, and leadership development efforts. RED participants will develop a set of HIGH IMPACT PRACTICES that will enable them to become more effective at leading and retaining high potential millennial talent within their organization/company. RED participants will not only learn how to become more effective at inspiring, motivating, and communicating with members of the Millennial Generation, but they will eradicate some of the Millennial Myths that could be affecting your organizational leaders. RED participants will discover a set of researched-based leadership styles that are most favorable and productive with members of the Millennial Generation. RED participants will not only talk about some of the common challenges that many organizational leaders have with members of the Millennial Generation, but they will develop viable solutions to these common problems that are expressed by individuals from different organizations and generations. RED participants will leave the leadership summit with a strategic action plan that can be used to help them increase retention and engagement with members of the Millennial Generation and become more effective at developing leaders of this generation. LEADERSHIP SUMMIT AGENDA 8:30am – 9:30am                                                                     Registration/Continental Breakfast 9:30am – 11:30am                                                                   Millennial Generation Overview –       Red Participants will learn how generations are formed by generational experts –       Red Participants will learn about characteristics, traits, and qualities of Millennials –       Red Participants will learn about the cultural differences of the Millennial Generation –       Red Participants will learn about the common problems associated with Millennials –       Red Participants will develop some viable solutions to these common problems associated with Millennials 11:30am – 12:30pm                                                                Lunch 12:30pm –   2:00pm                                                                Millennial Retention Strategies –       Red Participants will learn a set of HIGH IMPACT retention strategies for leaders of Millennials –       Red Participants will learn why certain Millennials stay longer than three years and others do not. –       Red Participants will discover the impact that cultural differences have on the retention of Millennials –       Red Participants will attain a set of strategies that will enable them to increase their retention numbers with         members of the Millennial Generation. –       Red Participants will learn a set of assessment strategies that they can use to measure the impact of these          retention strategies. 2:00pm – 2:30pm                                                                  Coffee/Cookie Break 2:30pm – 4:00pm                                                                  Millennial Leadership Strategies –       Red Participants will learn about the leadership styles most favorable with members of the Millennial        Generation –       Red Participants will develop some leadership strategies that can be used to develop more leaders of the            Millennial Generation. –       Red Participants will find out why certain leaders are effective at developing leaders of the Millennial                    Generation and others are not. –       Red Participants will attain a set of skills that will enable them to inspire, motivate, and develop more                  Millennials of Color. –       Red Participants will learn a set of assessment strategies that they can use to measure the impact of these          leadership strategies. 4:15pm – 5:15pm                                                                    Millennial Leaders Panel Session 5:30pm – 6:30pm                                                                    Action Planning Session –       Red Participants will develop a strategic action plan that will enable them to retain, lead, and develop                  more leaders of the Millennial Generation within their companies and organization. –       Red Participants will develop an assessment model that can be used to help them assess the                              effectiveness  of the strategies that have been created at the leadership summit.
